Owner-operated · Newton, MA
Home repairs, painting, and small projects for homeowners in Newton and nearby towns
A sticking door, a room that needs paint, a wall that needs patching, shelves to hang, trim to finish — that’s the work we take. Tell us what’s going on in the house. We’ll follow up by phone or text.
Serving Newton, Weston, Wellesley, Brookline, Cambridge, Boston, and 18 other Massachusetts towns — listed here, not implied.
Jobs we take
Describe the job
Town, which room, and what’s going on. A few sentences is enough.
Add photos if you have them
Optional, but a picture of the wall, door, or room helps us follow up clearly.
We call or text you
No quote calculator and no account. If the job is a fit, we’ll say so.
One local company for the punch list, not a hunt for four trades
Most homeowners aren’t looking for a carpenter, a painter, and a drywall specialist as three separate searches. They have a list: a room to paint, a wall to patch, a door that sticks, something to install. Cherry Home Solutions is who you send that list to.
We are owner-operated, based around Newton, and set up for small-to-medium residential work — not a large crew, and not a general contractor for major remodels. If the job is a fit, we’ll say so. If it isn’t, we’ll say that too.
What we do
Interior work that keeps a house in shape
These are the jobs we take. We evaluate each request individually — there is no published minimum, and no instant online price.
Home Repairs
The odd jobs and broken things that pile up: trim that split, a door that sticks, a wall that needs patching, a fixture that needs replacing.
Painting
Interior painting for rooms, hallways, trim, and ceilings. Prep and clean lines matter more than rushing a color on the wall.
Drywall & Wall Repair
Holes, cracks, water stains, and tired walls. Patch, tape, sand, and leave the surface ready to paint.
Doors & Trim
Interior doors that don't close, casings that were never finished, baseboards, and the small carpentry that makes a room look settled.
Installation & Assembly
Shelves, blinds, TVs, furniture, closet systems, and the other installs that need a level, a stud finder, and patience.
General Home Maintenance
The ongoing work of keeping a house in shape: small fixes, seasonal upkeep, and the list you never quite get to.
Small Home Improvements
Targeted upgrades rather than full renovations — a better closet, a cleaner hallway, a room that finally works the way you use it.
Minor Carpentry
Small woodwork around the house: blocking, simple built-ins, repairs to existing millwork, and custom pieces at a residential scale.
We do not advertise Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Roofing, Major structural work, or general contracting / major remodeling. If a job needs a licensed trade we don’t provide, we’ll tell you.
